Pizzeria il Faro in Borkum

Pizza without question very good. The rest ... well. Telephone reservation didn't work, we got a table in the drafty winter garden - without radiant heaters at the end of October ... was only bearable in a thick winter jacket. Wrong bill, no schnapps on the house .. in contrast to table neighbors ... somehow looks like second class guests ... unfortunately no recommendation.

We have been coming to Borkum for 15 years and are on vacation here. Eating at Il Faro is always a pleasure. Thank you Il Faro. We'll definitely be back. ?

The best pizza this side of the Alps ... Says my son. The rest of the family is also satisfied, was delicious at fair prices. Tables are a bit tight in the current situation.

Very unfriendly staff. Reserved the table until 8:00 p.m. and at 7:30 p.m. you are cholerically thrown out because the next ones are coming soon. But drinks were served a minute earlier. Doesn't work at all.

Had to wait a bit because it was so full. But the food was definitely worth it. Very tasty and plentiful. Pizza is offered as a blank in 30cm and 40cm which you can fill as you like. I had chanterelles, tuna, and onions on the side. Really recommend

This very nice little restaurant houses one of the best Italians. Even without Corona, you should definitely reserve a table, at short notice you rarely have a seat outside of the season. I can highly recommend the house-style carbonara.

Super tasty pizza & carbonara! Great bruschetta as a starter :-) Attentive waitresses who came straight to us when the glasses were almost empty and asked if something was wanted! Very popular, because during the time we spent there, many guests were put off without a reservation! So make a reservation in advance!

We ordered three pizzas to take away. The waiting time was reasonable and the prices were also right. The food was also very good in terms of taste and quality.

You get a totally airy basic pizza with tomatoes and cheese for € 8 basic price and can order any toppings for a small surcharge. A more creative concept because everyone can choose what they like.

Was really delicious, as you would expect from a good Italian. The staff is also very friendly. The restaurant is often very busy and you don't always get a seat spontaneously, but only as a hint.

Pizzas super delicious with a thin, crispy base. Topping as desired! served in a short time. Pasta and salads are also recommended. Very friendly staff. Despite Corona seats inside and outside according to the distance rules. ?? gladly again!

Pizza with topping, very, very tasty! Price performance absolutely fine. 20 minutes waiting time for 2 pizzas to take away was totally fine. Recommendation from me: call beforehand;)

Good food.. good atmosphere

Delicious food. The employees are very structured and it is possible to eat inside and outside even during the corona restrictions. We did not make reservations for two people, but would recommend it because Il Faro is a very popular restaurant here. We would love to come back

Best Pizza ever!

We are always back and forth at Il Faso. The pizzas are just the blast. The pasta dishes are no match. For dessert there was tiramisu .... super prepared and very delicious, at the end there was an espresso which is also recommended. As always, we have been served very nicely. It was again a completely successful visit. Many thanks to the team.

We ate here for dinner tonight and were very pleased. The service was friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and freshly prepared. There was also no problem for extra requests. From the starter to the dessert, we felt completely at ease. So if you are looking for an Italian restaurant on Borkum, you are in good hands here.
